Mitchell Santner will not be playing IPL 2018 season due to discomfort in his knees .

New Zealand all rounder to miss out entire IPL season 2018 due to knee injury which got noticed during the recent series against England. He got his legs scanned and noticed knee injury and further scans indicated the lad could be out of action for more than 9 months due to bone had deteriorated.

New Zealand coach said ” He’s is popular guy in dressing room and one among most respected players in the team and will be missed for upcoming series as he is a key player in all three formats”

Chennai Super Kings who just got into the IPL will miss Mithell badly. Cricketinfo wishes him a speedy recovery .
